The number one thing that will help us reach our goals, is being consistent. If we can somehow be consistent, then we will be able to keep our goal alive. However, we often set our goals high and lofty, and almost unreachable. The best option is to make a list of small and simple things that will help us get to the next step in our goal.
Do you want to figure out how to have more peace in your daily life? You can’t just hope for it. You have to have steps. What can you do everyday to bring you hope? What makes you feel hopeful? Do you want to exercise everyday? Okay, what is a simple step that you’ll be able to reach everyday? Is it just a few sit-ups and push-ups?
You can always add more. If you are willing to allow your step to be a micro goal you will get to the bigger goal as you accomplish those micro steps! It’s amazing, and simple – but you have to be willing to step up and do the work. If you don’t fulfill your goal one day, or at the time you hoped, move forward! Keep going! Keep moving your feet in the direction you hope. You won’t be perfect, and that is okay! Just do it tomorrow!
